You can upgrade between Buttered Lite packages or between Buttered Lite and Buttered Host websites, from our parent company, who offer bespoke services for your business.

What does my maintenance plan cover?
Your maintenance plans will cover regular backups of your site so that if any issues ocur, we can restore the backup of your site. The site also covers any security issues that may come up. The maintenance plan includes the hosting of your site, giving it a place to live. The plan also covers email customer support as and when your need it.
What happens after the 18 months if I opt for no deposit?
At this point you own your website and you are free to take it to another hosting company if you wish. If your website is ready for a refresh, you could redo your site and start a new 18 months contract, or you can leave it as is and we will continue to look after it for as long as you would like us to. Please note that if you wish to take your site elsewhere, there is an exit fee of our hourly rate depending on the time it takes us to move it.
How do I get my URL address?
When you pick up a name for your website you will input that into your form when you purchase the site. It is a good idea to check the web in case your site already exists. If there are any issues we will contact you to let you know that your domain name is not available and if there is a similar option, for example, a .co.uk instead of a .com
Will I get an email address with my site?
We do not provide email as part of the package, but we will connect it to a well known email provider of your choice. You sign up for Google Workspace, or Outlook and we can hook you up.
Can you make changes to the templates?
Yes, there are a number of changes that can be made to templates, although we will not re-design the template. Check the templates page to see what changes can be made.
What if I want to upgrade my site over time?
As your business grows, we are here to grow with you. When your Buttered Lite website is not meeting your business needs, we can transition you to our parent company Buttered Host. There is no charges for transferring from Buttered Lite to Buttered Host.
